Zebra-Jaguar
About the species
Description
The "Zebra-Jaguar" Carpet Python is a genetically proven double co-dominant morph first produced here at UK Pythons in 2005. As you can see it is the perfect blend of both the Zebra and Jaguar and is easily distinguished from either morph.

History
In 2005 I bred an '03 male Zebra Jungle Carpet to a Coastal Jaguar female. The clutch hatched without any problems and yielded 10 50% Jungle Jaguars, 2 Zebras, 1 normal sibling and 4 double co-dom Zebra-Jaguars! In 2007 I bred a male Zebra together with a 50% Jungle Jaguar female in an attempt to hatch Zebra-Jaguars with 75% Jungle influence. Once again incubation was trouble free and after 52 days the clutch hatched. The result was 4 Zebras (including twins), 2 75% Jungle Jaguars, 6 siblings and a pair of 75% Zebra-Jaguars.
